Account deletion
Effective 4 June 2026
You can permanently delete your Trace account and associated data at any time, either inside the app or by contacting support.
Delete your account in Trace
- Open Trace and choose the Profile tab.
- Scroll to Support & Legal.
- Choose Delete account.
- Continue, type DELETE, and confirm the deletion.
The app signs you out when deletion completes. The action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Request deletion without the app
Email [email protected] from the email address attached to your Trace account with the subject "Delete my Trace account". We will verify that you own the account and process the request within 30 days.
Data that is deleted
- Your account and profile information.
- Your health concerns, goals, body statistics, and preferences.
- Your meal logs, meal photos, insights, and reusable food entries.
- Your weight, water, exercise, step, and GLP-1 dose logs.
- Your referral records and notification settings.
Intermittent-fasting settings are stored only on your device. An in-app deletion clears them when Trace signs you out; you can also remove them by signing out or uninstalling the app.
Limited transaction, security, and legal records may be retained where required by law or legitimate fraud-prevention needs, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your Trace account does not cancel a subscription managed by Apple or Google. Cancel it first to prevent future billing:
